MT20

MT20  allows the measurement of moisture in wood; the indication provided represents the average percentage content of water referred to the dry weight of the material.

The measurement is based on the dielectric constant of the object under examination, which is characteristic of each material and which is influenced by the presence of water molecules.

This type of measurement allows a rapid evaluation of the moisture content of the material without damaging it.

MT20 can measure moisture on the surface (8-15 mm) or deeper (15-25 mm).

The particular MT20 sensor, thanks to its particular technology, allows a double measurement of the moisture in the wood.
