Overview
WoodWizard2 is a SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) software designed to communicate with Kiln-Bus devices.
It is particularly useful in plants equipped with multiple drying kilns, allowing real-time monitoring of all drying processes in the facility. It also becomes essential when thermal treatment certificates must be produced, in combination with compatible controllers and/or external acquisition boards.
In addition to generating process graphs and recording all events in detail (from alarms to operator actions), WoodWizard2 enables the management and programming of all drying kilns in the plant from a single workstation.
Measurements are carried out using alternating current, ensuring maximum stability even when working with material that has a high moisture content.

Wood species compensation: selectable either according to the traditional 4-group classification or according to the AS/NZS 1080.1:2012 standard, which includes over 400 individually listed and classified wood species.

Drying program management: cycles can be saved on disk and reused at any time.

Remote control: the plant can also be managed remotely via Internet or direct telephone line, using common PC remote access tools.

Optimized PC usage: the same computer dedicated to WoodWizard2 can also be used for standard office activities. A resident component of the software remains active in memory, collecting data and notifying alarms even when the main WoodWizard2 window is closed.
