The LG38 is a device developed to continuously measure wood moisture and control the climate inside the kiln. It is equipped with 4 temperature-compensated wood moisture probe inputs. The climate inside the chamber is determined by the temperature of two probes: one dry bulb and one wet bulb. The first probe is exposed to the air, while the second is wrapped in a wet cotton cloth that must be kept moist by partial contact with water (the cloth and water container are not included in the supply). The temperature difference between the two probes, due to the evaporation of water, is directly related to the moisture content inside the chamber.
Delivered in a practical container suitable for panel mounting (DIN), it is the simplest and most cost-effective solution for controlling your kiln and monitoring drying cycle progress.
Suggested where:
-
An economical semi-automatic control system for kilns is required
-
A dry bulb/wet bulb control system is preferred
-
The controller can be connected near the drying kiln
The LG38 is equipped with 5 relays to control sprayers, dampers, heating, and fan reversal.
