Professional screed moisture measurement kit
Professional solution for checking the internal moisture of screeds prior to laying parquet and moisture-sensitive flooring, reducing the risk of problems caused by incorrectly dried substrates.
The Professional screed moisture measurement kit is engineered to perform in-situ RH tests before installing parquet, wooden flooring, and moisture-sensitive coverings. The 2026 version has been redesigned to make on-site testing more practical and efficient. The new configuration features a detachable connection cable from the RH sensor, allowing you to prepare test locations in the screed, let the sensor equalize inside the sleeve, and connect the instrument only when reading. The system measures internal relative humidity within the screed rather than just surface moisture, adhering to the in-situ RH method described by technical standards such as ASTM F2170. It is available in four configurations: Standard, Pro, Standard + MT20, and Pro + MT20. Versions with the MT20 include the digital meter and are designed for those needing a ready-to-use solution for testing both screed and wood moisture prior to installation.
Kit installation is guided by multilingual documentation included in the package and by the official tutorial video. To achieve accurate results, follow all procedure steps carefully:
- drill the screed to the specified depth;
- thoroughly clean the hole;
- insert the sleeve;
- position the RH sensor;
- seal with the equilibration cap;
- wait for the required stabilization period;
- connect to the meter and take the reading.
The detachable RH sensor system allows test locations to remain set up during stabilization while connecting the instrument only at reading time. This streamlines testing across multiple points or rooms and speeds up site operations. Adhering strictly to installation procedures and stabilization times is essential for securing reliable measurements consistent with the in-situ RH method.
The kit is available in four configurations to adapt to different operational requirements: Standard, Pro, Standard + MT20, and Pro + MT20.
The Standard version is the basic kit for in-situ RH screed measurement, ideal for those who already own a compatible Logica H&S instrument. The Pro version is the expanded setup, designed to prepare multiple test locations simultaneously and reduce overall testing time. Versions with MT20 include the digital moisture meter and are designed for those seeking a ready-to-use solution that also includes wood moisture testing prior to installation.

Proper installation of parquet and moisture-sensitive floorings requires suitable substrate conditions. An insufficiently dry screed can lead to debonding, cupping, buckling, or post-installation claims. The kit allows you to verify relative humidity inside the screed using the in-situ RH method, helping professionals assess whether substrate conditions are compatible with installation. Versions with MT20 included also allow you to measure wood moisture content prior to laying, completing the primary checks required on-site.
The kit is useful to:
- check the internal moisture of the screed;
- set up one or multiple measurement points;
- follow a structured and repeatable procedure;
- support technical decision-making before installation;
- minimize the risk of residual moisture issues.
The kit is tailored for professionals who must verify screed conditions prior to flooring installation or project handover. Ideal for:
- parquet and wooden floor installers;
- flooring contractors and craftsmen;
- specialized distributors and installation centers;
- site managers and inspectors;
- architects, surveyors, and project directors;
- technicians performing preliminary substrate checks. Versions including the MT20 are particularly recommended for those seeking a complete solution to monitor both screed and timber moisture levels prior to laying.
